This weekend I had the pleasure of taking part in an incredible art and music festival, where I was invited by Das Scharf to create a live installation during the event. For this piece, I worked with recycled materials such as scrap wood and found objects, giving new life and meaning to things that once seemed forgotten.
The event, organised by Das Scharf and The Cinemoon Festival in collaboration with Gallery Marcoux and The Funky Monkey, was titled Simple Pleasures, A Series of Fortunate Events v2.0, Īwa: From Beirut to Malta. It brought together such a vibrant mix of art, music and creativity, and being part of it as a live installation artist was an experience I’ll treasure.
A huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported the event, and to the wonderful team from Cafe Society for creating such an awesome atmosphere throughout the night. Special thanks to Dockerbone, The Chef and Dr Zicotron for the fantastic music, and to Joseph José Khoros for capturing it all so beautifully through his photography.
