ART TOURS

In September I had the chance to visit the Yingge ceramics museum in Taiwan while working on a web project in China. This museum is one of the largest art museums in Asia and focuses mainly on ceramics and pottery.

In this tour I spent a week with my girlfriend in Tuscany visiting some interesting exhibitions in Pisa, Carrara, Accademia di Belle Arte and other collective contemporary exhibitions in Italy.

This was one of the best art tours so far, visiting a personal exhibition by Henry Moore, a collevtive exhibition by Indian artists at Saatchi and the wide collection of paintings by Matisse, Picasso, Braque and more at Tate modern.

This month I visited the island of Gozo, where I had the chance to visit the carnival monument by Gozitan artist John Grima which was inaugurated by the FECC in 2005 in Nadur. On this day I took the opportunity to visit some collective art exhibitions in Rabat.

This July together with a group of students from MCAST Art & Design, we visited Sciacca in Sicily. An Art tour organised by myself, Ceramist George Muscat and Art Historian George Glanville. We visited the an important contemporary exhibition in Marsala, “Monocromo” l’utopia del colore. An exhibition featuring important Italian artists such as: Ettore Colla, Pietro Dorazio, Lucio Fontana, Piero …

This January I spent a week in London where I visited Dali, Andy Warhol, Saatchi and UCA University of Creative Arts in Farnham. This tour was amazing where I had the chance to see Andy Warhol’s work in detail.
